A day spa, Himeshaganoyu Hot Spring

Only 0.5 % of all spring water in Japan is said to be high-dense naturally carbonated hot spring. You can enjoy this rare spring water here in Hida-Osaka. Today on April 15, 2019, the only day-spa in our town reopened with the new spring water providing system. Now you can see the bobbles sticking on your skin when soaking yourself in the spring water.

The spring water in the bath tab is kept 38℃ (100℉) to keep the carbonation alive in the water. The water keeps you warm even after you finished the bathing. This is how people here in Hida-Osaka get along with cold and snowy winter.

At the restaurant Himetei, there are many local dishes cooked with the spring water, such as yudofu, tofu cooked in the boiling spring water, soupy rice prepared with the spring water, and shabushabu cooked in the boiling spring water.

Please come and enjoy the high-dense naturally carbonated spring water of Hida-Osaka.
