On June 10, a ceremony to pray for the safety of climbing Mt. Ontake and the opening of the mountain was held at the Ontake Nigorigo High Altitude Training Center, where all concerned prayed for the safety of climbing Mt.
Hida-Osaka Tourism Association Chairman Suzuyama said, “We will do our best to ensure that people can safely enjoy Ontake and to attract more fans to the mountain.”
Ontake, which boasts the largest summit area in Japan, and we hope that all climbers will fully enjoy the climb to the fullest by making a hiking plan based on their own physical strength and skills.
