Let's recharge our batteries for tomorrow at a hidden hot spring surrounded by nature.

2Mount Ontake Hida side trailhead
Second day:
AM8:00 Finished breakfast at the inn, and set off with a bento box. Climbed Mt. Ontake from the Kosaka entrance (Nigori-gawa), aiming for Hida Summit (4.2 km one way, approximately 210 minutes).
3Mt. Ontake Go-no-ike Hut
Checked into Go-no-ike Hut, the only mountain hut open at 12 PM along the ridgeline. Enjoyed a relaxing cafe and lunch on the terrace of the adjacent "Panda House, the Cloudtop Wood-fired Stove Cafe," while gazing at Mt. Marishiten, the main peak of Kita-Mitsumine.
After lunch, enjoy a leisurely hike around the bowls of Shino-ike and San-no-ike on the mountaintop. (Approx. 3 hours)
A little past the cabin is the best sunset viewing spot. Let's watch the beautiful sunset.
The cafe "Pandaya," located on the clouds with a wood-burning stove, is exclusively for overnight guests.

4Mount Ontake Marishiten
Day 3:
Let's wake up early to see the sunrise. If we're lucky, we might even see Mt. Fuji.
For the adventurous type, it's recommended to aim for the summit of Marishiten-zan, the main peak of Kitadake. (One-way course time: approximately 1 hour 30 minutes)
Those of a leisurely disposition also find it delightful to enjoy their morning coffee at Panda Terrace.
5Dagokawa Onsen Municipal Open-Air Bath
Started descending at 12 PM, returned to the parking lot by 3 PM.
Let's heal the fatigue of climbing with a hot spring after all. The open-air bath at the public day-trip onsen is exceptional.
