This is a cross-section of Japan's largest lava flow, formed by andesitic lava approximately 54,000 years ago. It is a designated Natural Monument of Gifu Prefecture. Similar rock walls continue upstream for 17 kilometers. The "Amadori-iwa" on the Neo no Taki course is a lava formation about twice the height of Gandalate, measuring around 150 meters.
Kurokawa Fishing Pond

This is a fishing pond that uses a natural river. You can enjoy trout fishing in the "Koguro River," a clear stream from Mt. Ontake.
We also offer fish catching, which is safe for families with small children. You can also pay to have your caught trout grilled and eaten. Nearby, there's river play.
