In accordance with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information (enacted on April 1, 2005)," the Hida Osaka Tourist Association has established the following policy regarding the handling of personal information managed by the Hida Osaka Tourist Association.
1. Handling of rosters for sponsored projects
Personal information of inquirers and participants in the sponsored projects (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") will be strictly managed to prevent leakage to outside parties due to unauthorized access or other reasons.
Basically, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
Personal information will be used for the purpose of providing information to inquirers and applicants and for the smooth operation of the relevant event. Even after the event has ended, we may continue to send information about related events based on the personal information in our possession. However, the Company will clearly indicate how to refuse to continue sending such notices, and will promptly delete the relevant personal information from the list when the applicant (or the guardian in the case of a minor) notifies the Company of his/her refusal.
2. Handling of rosters in commissioned projects
The use of personal information (e.g., course rosters) obtained in the course of operations commissioned by external organizations such as government and private organizations is for the purpose of smooth operation of such operations, and will not be used for any other purpose.
Basically, we do not provide personal information to third parties.
3. Handling of Photographs of People (common to both sponsored and commissioned projects)
The copyright of all the photos taken in the organized activities belongs to the Hida Osaka Tourist Association. The use of the photographs is limited to recording the activities of the Hida Osaka Tourist Association and publicity activities. However, the photos may be provided to third-party organizations as supplementary materials for introducing the activities of the Hida Osaka Tourism Association.
In order to avoid infringing on the portrait rights of the individual who is the subject of the photo, we will obtain the consent of the individual to be photographed and clearly indicate the method of refusal. If the individual (or his/her parent or guardian in the case of a minor) requests refusal, we will not take photographs of the individual in question. However, this does not apply to group photos or photos in which individuals cannot be identified.
Photographs to be used for publicity activities (newspapers, magazines, websites, flyers, etc.) must be taken with the consent of the individual who is the subject of the photograph (or the guardian in the case of a minor). However, this does not apply to group photos or photos in which individuals cannot be identified.
We will confirm that the copyright of the photographic materials taken in the operation of the commissioned project belongs to the commissioning organization, and submit them to the commissioning organization promptly after the completion of the project in question. We will obtain the consent of the commissioning organization before publishing the photos in the Hida-Osaka Tourist Association's pamphlet. The handling of photographs of people shall be in accordance with the provisions stipulated in (2) and (3) above.
