At 9:30 a.m., we depart for the Mitsu Falls Course, a waterfall tour course that can be enjoyed by anyone with comfortable shoes and clothes that are easy to move around in.
The refreshing Mitsu Falls walking trail along the valley stretches from Gandate Park and takes only 10 minutes to reach the powerful three-tiered waterfall (Mitsu Falls).

3Kosaka Waterfall TourKaratani Waterfall, Akagane toyo

After about an hour, you will reach two waterfalls, Karatani Falls and Akaganetoyo Falls, by following the forest road along the canyon upstream. The waterfall basin of Akaganetoyo is a mysterious emerald green. The Karatani Falls are truly a mighty waterfall, dropping water from the valley into a large space with a roaring sound. If you are lucky, you may see a rainbow hanging over the falls.
It is recommended to spend the entire morning leisurely touring the waterfalls (approximately 3 hours, 5 km round trip).

4teahouse that introduces clients to prostitutes

5Iwate Gorge Himeshaga no Yu

Open only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
At 1:00 PM, when your stomach is full, go to Hime-Shaga-no-Yu, 900 m downstream from Gandate Park, where you can easily experience a carbonated spring. It is interesting to compare drinking and bathing in natural carbonated spring water, which is different in quality from any of the hot springs where we stayed yesterday.
