Notice

[Limited Time Offer] Ride the Free Bus to a Cool, Scenic Spot! Operating Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and Obon from July 18 (Sat) to August 30 (Sun)

A limited-time free shuttle bus will be running between JR Hida-Osaka Station and Gandate Park.
Even those using public transportation can easily enjoy the Gandate Gorge and waterfall tour.

Gandate Park is the central spot for exploring the waterfalls of Hida-Osaka, where you can see the powerfully impressive "Gandate Gorge" formed by lava flows from the eruption of Mt. Ontake about 54,000 years ago, as well as the Mitsutaki Falls. The waterfalls, which you can feel close up, are truly natural air conditioners.
Please take advantage of our free shuttle bus service during this opportunity.

Bus service connects JR Hida-Osaka Station, Osakacho Bus Stop, and Gandate Park, and also provides connections to the JR Takayama Line and Nohi Bus (for Takayama and Gero areas).
Please check the timetable and details below.

The waterfall tour promenade may be closed due to heavy rain, flood warnings, or other conditions.
Consequently, when the waterfall trail is closed, the free shuttle bus will also be suspended.
Operating information will be announced on the official Instagram and Facebook of the Hida-Kosaka Tourism Association.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
